Question: What are Basils? Answer: Sheep!
I like to watch sheep, and cows too (they're called Herberts by the way). As a city dweller the sight of basils and herberts in a field has come to represent a slower and more relaxed pace of life. I'm certain the farmer doesn't quite see it that way though! My idyllic scene, it has to be said, would involve animals reared under the Soil Association Regulations where BSE would not have existed and F&M would not have been likely to have had the effects that it recently did! Basils and Herberts? Well that started way back in my schooldays. Mad I know but I'm confident that some of the links I've found on 'Basils' will prove that I'm not the only nutter on the subject. Have fun checking them out. Go on - Put a smile on your face - Go there now!
